what we do

At  Rewindlab we think of our products as waste-negative, beauty-positive. We transform items with little value into objects of unforeseen beauty, while diverting them from their fated place in the trash stream. It’s a waste-reversal magic trick. Crafting our line from objects found right here in San Francisco results in one-of-a-kind products that not only look good, but feel good to own.

why we do what we do

We are interested in making things that you are attracted to and feel good about buying and owning. We feel a responsibility to improve the environment in whatever way we can, and making reclaimed and recycled products that will last for generations, as an alternative to the disposable nature of so much design, is our small contribution. As designers we are driven to take action and make a difference and hope you feel compelled to do the same.
